Unlock PDF Guide

Develop your own solution to remove security from password protected files by integrating with iLovePDF’s REST API.

Remember that in order to use our Tool Guides, you need to have previous knowledge about the basics to processing a PDF with our REST API. We strongly recommend that you read the Processing a PDF guide before starting this one.

Basic unlock PDF

Unlock tool will try to unlock the files which are protected with a password. If it succeeds, the PDF file will return as a password-free document to download. If the Unlock tool fails, the system will inform you with an error message indicating which files failed.
